  1. These are lovely. We lived in Carson, NM years ago and returned for a visit about a year and a half ago – and yes, we did visit the ranch as well. Love that area of the world, and you’ve really captured the colors the desert shows off during certain times of year and day. Beautiful.

      Thank you Bela. It is a stunningly beautiful place isn’t it? How the light changes throughout the day and that special quality it has, no wonder O’Keefe loved it there. Sedona has that same quality of light I think. Visiting there last December I was repeatedly delighted with the warm glow that seems to underlie the sunlight there.

      • Yes, I’m spoiled, as I remember Oak Creek Canyon on into Sedona from many years ago. Too crowded for me anymore, and so I prefer Abiquiu 😉 Aloha.
